1/24/16 - Members of the GU15 Premier team combined to win the Girls High School West Division of the Mass Futal League today. CHSC beat the Pink Ladies 8-7 when Katherine McElroy scored from a half court free kick with 5 seconds left in the game. Playing against  futsal clubs is always a difficult and today's challenge for the CHSC was no exception. The Pink Ladies combined several times for some very impressive team goals and built themselves a 3 goal lead 5 minutes into the second half.  As the game progressed into the second half the CHSC defense tightened with solid play from Hailey Roover and Gaby Lewis. Then the CHSC slowly chipped away at the Pink Lady lead with clutch goals from Casey Ferrigno and Isabella Ghafour. Coach Villarreal's team displayed exceptional composure and mental toughness to come from 3 goals down to win the championship.
