Jr Academy (3-4th grades)
The Jr Academy is our beginner Field Hockey program and focuses on the development of basic skills and Field Hockey rules. We offer our Jr Academy during the Spring and Fall. The Jr Academy is a 60 minute session that runs on Sundays and combines both skill instruction and small sided scrimmages.
Spring 2023 Details
Who: Players in 3-4th Grade.
Where: Park School (171 Goddard Ave, Brookline, MA)
When: 10-11am on the following Sundays: 3/26, 4/2, 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 and 6/4.
Equipment:
Players must provide their own stick and protective equipment. Beginner equipment packages can be found on Amazon.

Registration Fee: $250

Colleen Boyle
Director of Field Hockey
Colleen grew up in Brookline and graduated from Brookline High School in 2002. She played field hockey and lacrosse throughout high school and continued field hockey at the club level while attending Roanoke College in Virginia. Colleen has coached all levels of field hockey at Brookline High and has been the Varsity coach since 2014. In addition, Colleen has coached both freshmen and junior varsity lacrosse at the high school. Colleen has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College and is currently in her 11th year of teaching grades 6-8 Spanish at the Runkle School in Brookline.
