Middle School League


CHSC Field Hockey hosts a Grade 5-8 Middle School League each Fall and Spring. The Middle School League is open to everyone that registers. A tryout is not required.

The Middle School League will consist of school based teams that will play an 8 game season on Saturdays and have weeknight practices 2x/week. Teams will be coached by a cooperative team of parent volunteers and a CHSC Technical Director (a professional coach that will plan and oversee all practices and games). Players can be registered using the link below.

Beginner and Intermediate Groups: For practices and games we place 5-6th graders in our Beginner Group and 7-8th graders in our Intermediate Group. We allow more advanced 5-6th graders to practice and play with the Intermediate Group.

Spring 2024 Schedule
Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6pm at the Park School.
Games: Saturday Mornings 11-12pm at the Park School.
Saturday Game Dates (8): 4/6, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 6/1 and 6/8.
Practices start on 4/2 and end on 6/6.  (No practices on 4/16 or 4/18)

Equipment
Players must provide their own stick and protective equipment. Beginner equipment packages can be found on Amazon.

Registration

Fall 2023 Middle School League Registration Fee: $600 + $15 Uniform

Colleen Boyle

Director of Field Hockey

Colleen grew up in Brookline and graduated from Brookline High School in 2002. She played field hockey and lacrosse throughout high school and continued field hockey at the club level while attending Roanoke College in Virginia. Colleen has coached all levels of field hockey and was the Brookline High Varsity coach from 2014 to 2018. In addition, Colleen has coached both freshmen and junior varsity lacrosse at the high school. Colleen has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College and is currently the 6-8 Spanish Teacher at the Runkle School in Brookline.
