The CHSC has partnered with Summer at Park to create a professional led soccer academy for rising 7th and 8th grade girls . This program aims to prepare players to meet the physical, technical, tactical, mental and social demands of 11v11 soccer.
Where and When: The 2017 Summer Select Academy will be 9am-4pm July 31- August 4. We'll utilize Skyline Park for the morning session and Park School Facilities (classrooms, fields and pool) during the afternoon.
Space is Limited: The first 26 players to register will be accepted into the Summer Select Academy and Tournament Team. Registration opens in December of 2016.
Northeastern Women's Soccer joins SSA for team building activities.
Players that participate in the Summer Select Academy will get the following on a daily basis:
A typical day includes two training sessions (one in the morning and the other in the afternoon). Our professional coaching staff balances both sessions, so that players are not over stressed physically or mentally. When the players are not on the field they will participate in lectures and group activities that will help them develop as soccer players, as athletes and as social members within the team structure. The Summer at Park pool allows players some time to relax, recover, cool off and socialize during their busy day. It is summer after all and what could be better than a swim with friends.
